Hot mud pools in Rotorua. We missed the geysers, but we did get to see these.
Imagine thousands of boiled eggs. Jess's description of the smell was a little less flattering, but you still get the idea.
I was so proud of figuring out how to use the timer thingee on my camera.... but then this was the only picture I managed to take, which is mostly of the railing that I set my camera on!!!
